Pigment Violet 19
Pigment Violet 19 high end purple pigment. Together with inorganic pigments such as molybdenum red or iron oxide, it can be applied in high-end industrial coatings. The transparent type of PV19 are good for metal decorative coatings. With high heat stability, it is also used in plastics such asPolyolefins, PVC and Pur. Y-type of PV19 has slightly lower light resistance than that of β-type, but it has higher transparency. Y-type has larger particle size and excellent light fastness and is recommended to use in outdoor coatings. By using together with Pigment Red 122, it will get a standard hue and which is popular to apply in high end metal decorative printing inks. The heat resistance of the printed sample is 190℃/10min and the light fastness of the printed samples is 6-7.
